Pride 2025: Explore NYC Pride Events

This year’s theme, “Rise Up: Pride in Protest,” honors the ongoing legacy of LGBTQIA+ activism rooted in the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. Organized by Heritage of Pride, NYC Pride 2025 offers a vibrant mix of parades, festivals, and cultural events throughout the city.

NYC Pride March 

Date: Sunday, June 29, 2025

Route: Starts at 26th St & 5th Ave, disperses at 15th St & 7th Ave 
Grandstand Tickets: Available for purchase soon 
Registration: Open now for individuals and organizations     
 
The NYC Pride March is one of the largest LGBTQIA+ civil rights demonstrations globally, attracting millions of spectators and participants each year.  

 
PrideFest 

Date: Sunday, June 29, 2025 
Time: 11:00 AM 
Location: Greenwich Village 
Details: An annual LGBTQIA+ street fair featuring vendors, food, and entertainment     
 
PrideFest is a vibrant street fair that coincides with the Pride March, offering a day of fun, food, and community engagement. 
 

Youth Pride 

Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025 
Time: 12:00 PM 
Location: South Street Seaport Museum - Pier 16 & The Seaport - Pier 17 
Details: A celebration for LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies, featuring performances and activities    
 
Youth Pride offers a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ youth to celebrate and connect with their community. 

Queens Night Market Pride Month Kick-Off 

Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025 
Time: 4:00 PM – Midnight 
Location: 4701 111th St, Corona, NY 11368 (behind the New York Hall of Science) 
Admission: Free 
Details: Kick off Pride Month with a vibrant celebration at the Queens Night Market, NYC’s most diverse and affordable open-air night market. Enjoy over 70 vendors offering traditional foods from around the world, all priced at $6 or less. The event features live entertainment, art, and merchandise vendors, creating a welcoming community space for all. Bring your friends, family, and picnic blankets, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Queens. 

Criminal Queerness Festival 

Dates: June 11–28, 2025 
Location: HERE Arts Center, 145 6th Avenue, New York, NY 
Tickets: $25 standard; $35 true cost 
Details: The Criminal Queerness Festival (CQF) is the official theater event of NYC Pride. This Obie Award-winning initiative, produced by National Queer Theater in partnership with HERE Arts Center, showcases new plays by LGBTQ+ artists from countries where queer identities are criminalized or censored. This year’s lineup includes:    

A Cuban punk rock jukebox musical that tells the true story of individuals who knowingly transmitted HIV to themselves as an act of political defiance.
