OUR MISSION

These days, “green” has a more expansive meaning. Environmental protection. Eco-friendly living. Sustainability. Whatever the particular shade, “green” speaks to a better future for our people and our planet. Here at Kips Bay Court we take sustainability and resiliency seriously. In fact, we’re proud of how we have made this community one of New York City’s greenest. Since 2016, Beam Living has invested over $25 million in sustainability improvements.

We have been awarded a Fitwel 2-Star Certification. We've received strong 3rd-party recognition for our healthy, safe, and accessible community.
Implemented energy efficiency improvement projects such as LED lighting upgrades and gas boiler conversion. The projects reduced carbon footprint and Annual Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions was reduced by 760k metro tons of Carbon Dioxide equivalent.
We are upgrading hot water heaters and heating distribution systems to improve thermal comfort for residents and reduce heat waste through operations.
Through upgrading our elevators, residents felt improvements on accessibility and communication via the electric dashboard in the banks.
